Dreamworks

i came across this last night, Dreamworks lastest animated movie. Dreamworks is an independent American animation Studio which primarily produce a series of critically and commercially successful computer animated films  including Shrek, Shark Tale, Madagascar, Over the Hedge, Bee Movie and Kung Fu Panda

This will be the first computer animated movie which will be produced in real 3-D instead of converting the film into 3-D after it is finished, which will add $15 million extra to the film’s budget.

coming to a cinema near you in ‘09 so keep your peepers peeled!

Space Invaders,

holy cow batman! we’re being invaded!

I  found this last year whilst in Birck Lane but remembered it this morning its the same idea as my peice of work just far more advanced (as he has been around the world) haha enjoi. x

its essentially sticker bombing but he has a very interesting idea, makes me wonder if he’s perhaps a business man who travels for his job but does this as a way to spend his time in those countrys…or he has a team of people

Creaktif is a complete design studio working in print, film and interactive mediums based in France whose current website design appeared in October of 2005.

This is a website i came across which reminded me of something one of my class mates Gorden had. sadly ive lost the website but in the top corner is the logo and the name “Forsvarsmaketen” which is probably the website name…

Jonathan Yuen is a multi-disciplinary graphic designer based in Singapore with an online portfolio that has a highly unusual feel to it. The use of audio and animation makes his work stand out from average portfolios. Quite poetic in its style.

FLASH ANTICS

today i spent about 6hours (i kidd you not) working on my website. instead of simple dots on my map now each one is a sticker that will stick itself down upon loading the SWF / Website fully.

but i had a few problems regarding the fact that each copied sticker had the same Action Script and then once an image was up i had problems getting rid of them also!.  so alas there I was drowning in errors and tutorials but a  shiny shiny light appeared on the horizon that i never did actually catch the name of but he looked something like this…. some say he’s a myth some say he’s a lunatic others say he hails from Glastonbury (go figure) but now my website is well on its way and looking rather dashing!

anyway im off out shortly to the pub as i desperately need a pint!
